Shiny Bug

Shiny Bug is named for the iridescent shimmer of a beetle caught in sunlight — a deep, complex blue-purple that shifts between cobalt, violet, and indigo as the skein moves, with a mesmerising optical quality that is unlike anything else. Part of the Mystic Shades collection.

Hand-dyed in small batches on a luxurious Merino Silk Yak blend — the silk is what makes this colourway truly extraordinary, amplifying every colour-shift and giving the skein an almost metallic, beetle-wing lustre that has to be seen in person to be believed.

Care: Hand wash in cool water with a gentle wool wash. Lay flat to dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not tumble dry or wring.

Hand-dyed yarns are unique by nature — slight variations between skeins are part of their beauty. Alternate skeins when working larger projects.
