Labradorite is one of nature’s most magical stones — a dark grey mineral that conceals within it a spectacular iridescent flash of blue, teal, and green. This colourway captures that mystery perfectly: a moody blue-grey tonal with subtle shifting tones of teal and muted green that hint at something extraordinary beneath the surface. Quiet on first glance, captivating on closer inspection.

Part of our Birthstone Collection — a series of twelve colourways inspired by the gemstone of each month, each one hand-dyed on our luxurious Merino Silk Yak blend to capture the unique character of its stone.

The silk gives this moody grey its characteristic subtle flash and luminosity, echoing the labradorescence of the stone itself, while the yak adds exceptional softness and warmth.

Care: Hand wash in cool water with a gentle wool wash. Lay flat to dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not tumble dry or wring.

Hand-dyed tonals are unique by nature — slight variations between skeins are part of their beauty. Alternate skeins when working larger projects.
